By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Permanent Building Committee has started hearing proposals for what to do with the Center School property. Last night they heard from developers Chuck Joseph and Kevin Lobisser on a plan that would have 45 condos for ages 55 and older as well as some commercial space. Hop News reports the existing 1928 Center School facade would be preserved. The plan calls for the Joseph Group to buy the school and property from the town for $100,000 but they would donate two acres of land to the town for a public park. If the town approves the plan, Town Meeting would have to approve the sale.
Is the tradition of trick or treating fading?
