Hopkinton’s Conservation Commission has given their approval to a revised proposal for a two-story medical office building on Lumber Street. The Hopkinton Independent reports at their meeting this week the Commission agreed to the plan for the building on the vacant lot next to New View, Inc. and Hopkinton Stone & Garden after the developer updated the invasive species management plan and filtering systems and designed a smaller parking area. The first pass would have reportedly displaced about 13,000 cubic feet of floodplain area but the new version would be closer to 6500 cubic feet.
