By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The chair of the Hopkinton Conservation Commission has reportedly resigned. Jeff Barnes has told the Hopkinton Independent has stepped down for “personal reasons” but did not elaborate. He says he has “immensely enjoyed” being part of the Commission and is “profoundly proud” of the work they’ve done. He said his resignation was submitted earlier this month and took place immediately, so current vice chair Melissa Recos will take over as Conservation Commission chair at the next meeting next week.
