Hopkinton Acquires 21 Acres to Expand Open Space to Over 101 Acres

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Town of Hopkinton has acquired nearly 21 acres of land off of Hayden Rowe to increase the size of some existing open space. Town Manager Elaine Lazarus announced Thursday the Town bought land from Robert Colella which is adjacent to 80.5 acres of existing open space land creating a total area of over 101 acres that will be open to the public in perpetuity. Located near a trailhead, and new pollinator garden, the land also contains a portion of the Charles River headwaters.
