The Town of Hopedale continues to look for someone to buy the historic Town Hall building on Hopedale Street. In July they put out a Request for Proposals to sell and redevelop the property after there were several Town Meeting votes against investing in a major renovation. The Town offices have moved into a condo down the road. The Daily News reports that at this week’s Select Board meeting the Town Administrator said a “reputable party” is interested and will be visiting the site this month. If that falls through, he says they may auction it or hire a broker to sell it.
