By MyFM’s Marissa Santos – The Sacred Heart Church is hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 187 Hopedale Street in Hopedale. The event aims to collect various electronics, appliances, and items with plugs or batteries for recycling.
They’ll accept a wide range of items, including TVs, computers, small appliances, and even bicycles, regardless of their condition. There’s a small fee for recycling certain items, ranging from $5 to $40, depending on the type and size.
Attendees are requested to follow the guidance of the event staff upon arrival, and to bring their vehicles as close to the collection points as possible. Workers will assist with unloading items.
Residents from all towns and communities are encouraged to participate, rain or shine. Hard drives can be destroyed onsite for an extra charge. Cash is preferred, but checks are accepted for payments over $30. For more details or inquiries, reach out to [email protected].
