HOPEDALE – Town leaders in Hopedale are preparing to review new findings from an Environmental Site Assessment of the former Draper Mill site. According to the Town Administrator, the Select Board will discuss a report from environmental scientists that indicates “some industrial contamination at the site despite previous reports that said there was not.”
Officials say the site’s historical and geographic significance makes the findings especially important. The Town Administrator is encouraging residents to read the report and stay informed ahead of next week’s discussion.
