By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – With Hopedale facing another budget shortfall, town residents may be asked for a tax override for the fourth time in five years. Hopedale’s Town Administrator tells the Daily News that while they are still crunching the numbers for the fiscal year 2025 budget, which starts July 1, it’s looking like they’ll be shy between $400,000 to $500,000. He says reasons include rising health care costs, stormwater management, and other obligations that will lead to a 8% to 12% increase in the cost to run the town.
