By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Holliston voters have said yes to a tax override to help fund the school district. The Town Clerk says 4005 voters turned out for a Special Election Tuesday and 2627 of them said Yes to the $1.17 million override which will go to the school district to help fund salaries of teachers based on the new contract that was finalized after the May 13 Town Meeting had already voted on the school budget. The override already passed at a Special Town Meeting June 20. They say it will cost the average homeowner around $200.
