HOLLISTON – Two people from Holliston have been flown to Boston trauma centers following an explosion at their home Monday afternoon. Police Chief Matthew Stone says it happened shortly before 4pm at the home on Westfield Drive. Fire and Ambulance crews immediately responded but quickly determined the two 59- and 61-year-old residents needed trauma response and were flown to Mass General and Brigham and Women’s hospitals. Chief Stone says while the initial investigation points to the home’s boiler, the incident remains under investigation by the Holliston Police and Fire Departments as well as Eversource.
