Holliston Holds Tire Drop Off Day To Help Reduce Mosquito Population

In an effort to reduce the number of mosquitoes in the area the Central Mass Mosquito Control Project is working with the Holliston Board of Health to have a tire drop off day at the end of the month. Standing water inside tires is a common breeding ground for mosquitoes so officials want to make it easy for you to get rid of them. The free tire drop off is Saturday, September 30 from 9am to Noon at the Marshall Street Recycling Center. It is for car and small truck tires only, no rims, and for Holliston Residents only.
