Applications are being accepted for the Holliston Garden Club Scholarship for students pursuing a major in Horticulture, Botany, Landscape Design, Forestry, Environmental Science, Land Management or other garden-related field. The $1000 scholarship was founded by Dorothy (Dot) Stevens, a former Club president who recognized the importance of preserving our natural world and whose dream it was to encourage young people to pursue careers in horticulture. The scholarship is for Holliston residents only but both high school seniors and college students can apply. The deadline is April 14.
