By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Holliston Drug & Alcohol Awareness Coalition has an update on funding available to help families affected by the opioid crisis. The money is from the historic 2021 settlement with drug companies which sent funding to several communities impacted by the crisis. The Holliston Reporter says the Town has received about $150,000 and will continue to receive about $40,000 for the next 18 years. The Holliston Community Action Fund is providing grants to Holliston families to provide temporary financial relief for a particular incurred cost related to struggling with opioid misuse or addiction.
