By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Holliston Town Meeting has voted to give $50,000 from the town’s opioid settlement funds to the Holliston Drug and Alcohol Awareness Coalition. HDAAC tells the Holliston Reporter the bulk of the money will go toward supporting people in recovery through community groups and families, increasing the availability of naloxone and other overdose-reversing drugs, and educating kids on misusing drugs. But some will also go toward school programs, support for pregnant women and support for people who have been arrested.
