By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Today the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center assumes the 911 dispatching services for the Holliston Police and Fire Departments. Earlier this month the HRECC and the Town of Holliston reached an agreement for Holbrook to handle Holliston’s 911. This followed the Town studying several options including creating a new regional communications center with other communities. Holbrook got a $14 million state grant to bring in Holliston as well as Rockland, Abington, Sherborn, and Norwood.
