ByMyFM’s Claire Beverly – A brief lockdown at Hopkinton High School Tuesday morning was due to what Hopkinton Police called a “swatting” incident. They say someone called 911 around 11am claiming someone had been killed and the suspect was loose in the school. Police say the dispatcher recognized “indicators” that the call was a hoax but police did a sweep of the school just to be sure and cleared it in about ten minutes. They are investigating who made the call and say that person could face felony charges for making a false report.
