MEDWAY – Two important works documenting Medway’s history are once again available thanks to a local preservation effort.
Civil War historian and author Tom Ellis led the project to digitize and republish The History of Medway, Mass. 1713–1885, written by Rev. E. O. Jameson after it was commissioned in the 1880s.
With support from the Medway Historical Commission, copies have been donated to the Medway Public Library. The project also includes a reprint of Handbook of Medway History 1713–1913 by Orion T. Mason, helping preserve two of the town’s most significant historical references for future generations.
