A big honor has been given to Milford Police Officer Brian Sanchioni and his K9 partner Titan, who have been named as the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund Officers of the Month for April. Officer Sanchioni and Titan were selected for helping to find a missing 8-year-old, non-verbal child with autism that had wandered away from home. They tracked his scent through backyards and along a stream where Titan went into the water and under a bridge where he found the child clinging to a tree in chest-high water.
