By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Another sweltering day with our heat advisory in effect until 7pm today with temps in the high 90’s and a heat index over 102. If you need a place to escape the heat there are a number of cooling shelters. In Milford today you can go to the Police Department Lobby or Fire Station 2. In Blackstone, Medway and Westborough the Senior Centers are all available as are some libraries. Officials say to be sure to limit your outdoor activities, walk dogs later when the pavement is cooler, and don’t leave kids or pets in your car.
