By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A hearing has reportedly been set for next week for a Milford police officer to appeal his suspension by the state’s police oversight commission related to when he was a Hopkinton cop. Timothy Brennan was fired from Hopkinton after saying he knew about an alleged of rape of a student by another cop but didn’t report it because he learned of it years later when the victim was an adult and asked him not to. The POST Commission is investigating whether he violated policy. Hop News reports Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino plans to attend the appeal hearing to support Brennan on August 30.
