By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Grafton’s Feedback Earth has gotten another fine from the DEP for bad smells. The company, which converts food waste into animal feed, was fined $6,000 this month for what the DOE calls multiple off-site odor events and improper food waste management. Feedback Earth was previously fined $9,000 in 2022 for air pollution and solid waste issues. Feedback Earth’s COO told the Worcester Business Journal the fine was fair and they are still working to fix problems with the system from before they acquired it.
