By MyFM’s Claire BeverlyThe Grafton Water District now has a ban on all nonessential outside watering that will run 24 hours a day until further notice. Previously the ban was from 9am and 5pm but the commissioners say they have had to restrict it more to maintain a sustainable drinking water supply while they implement a new iron and manganese treatment plan for the Worcester Street well site. Nonessential watering includes watering your lawn with a sprinkler system, washing your car, and hosing down your driveway. There are some exemptions and they have lots of suggestions to help you on the town website.
