By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Grafton taxpayers may be asked for a $8.3 million tax override for the schools. At last week’s School Committee meeting, the superintendent said the money would be spread across four fiscal years from 2026 to 2030 to help cover expected deficits for each year. The Community Advocate reports next year’s budget could be around $2 million short due to some changes in state funding and even if they increased athletic, bus, and other fees for families, it still would not be enough and could mean staff and other cuts.
