Grafton School Bus Driver Arrested After Allegedly Making Unauthorized Stops

GRAFTON – A Grafton school bus driver has been arrested after allegedly deviating from his assigned route and making unauthorized stops while children were on board.

Grafton Police say the Worcester man is charged with kidnapping, reckless endangerment, misleading police and additional offenses. Authorities have not released the suspect’s name.

According to police, the driver worked for the school district’s transportation contractor, AA Transportation, but has since been terminated.

Officials say he is being held on $50,000 bail, and if released, he will be placed on house arrest with GPS monitoring. The incident remains under investigation.
