GRAFTON – Residents may hear more gunfire than usual coming from the North Grafton Fish, Bird and Game Club this week. The Grafton Police Department says it will be conducting its annual firearms qualifications and low-light training at the club on Stowe Road over the next three afternoons and evenings.

Police officials say they are grateful to the Gun Club for providing access to its facilities, noting that without the partnership, officers would have to travel outside of Grafton every day this week to complete the required training.

The department emphasized that all exercises are part of routine annual certification and that safety protocols will be strictly followed.
