State Police have confirmed it was a Grafton man who was killed after being hit by a semi while walking along Interstate 90 Wednesday night. Investigators say Jayson Bastarache was walking on the shoulder of the Mass Pike in Grafton when he was hit by a big rig. It’s not yet known why he was walking with officers saying they found a bicycle on a nearby street with footprints leading to the highway near the scene of the accident. State Police and the Worcester County DA’s Office are working to put the story together.
