GRAFTON – Starting next year, students at Grafton High School will have new opportunities to prepare for life beyond graduation with the addition of several practical and personal development courses.
According to the Community Advocate, juniors and seniors will be able to take a new course titled “Life After High School,” covering essential topics such as emergency care, consumer awareness, stress management, and time management.
Students will also have the option to enroll in “Financial Math,” focusing on real-world skills like home budgeting, taxes, and investments. In addition, creative-focused offerings including “Silent Sustained Reading” and “Personal Writing” will give students time to build literacy and self-expression skills.
School officials say the goal is to better equip students with both the life skills and personal growth tools they’ll need after high school.
