The Grafton Fire Department has a new truck for fighting brush fires. The Firematic BRAT 500 was especially built for Grafton and officials say it turned out beyond their expectations. BRAT stands for Brush Rapid Attack Truck and the Firematic Company says it is built on the base of a 2023 Ford 550 4×4. It was outfitted and custom built to Grafton’s specs with a 500 gallon PTO pump and 500 gallon tank. You can see it in person as one of the stops during “Grafton Celebrates the Holidays” this Sunday.
