By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Glenda Hazard has been re-elected to a 3-year term on the Hopedale Select Board. Unofficial results from Tuesday’s Hopedale Town Election show Hazard with 559 votes and challenger Nicole Small with 491. It was the only contested race on Tuesday’s ballot and in all only 1057 votes were cast. There was also one question, with voters saying yes to the town’s tree warden becoming appointed instead of elected. Hazard has been on the Select Board since 2020 with a brief resignation in 2021 for family obligations.
