Future of Franklin’s Davis-Thayer Building Debated with Redevelopment Proposals

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The next life for Franklin’s 100-year-old Davis-Thayer building is still up for discussion. This week the building Reuse Committee met with an agenda to hear from four proposed redevelopers. The Franklin Observer reports Dean College teamed up with developer Camford Property Group to propose a multi-use space highlighting Arts and Culture. Developers Penrose LLC did a presentation on using it for housing. And architect HFA along with TMC Properties proposed a mixed-use building featuring a restaurant.
