MILFORD – The Honorable Judge Francis Larkin will be laid to rest tomorrow. The Milford native passed away January 16 at the age of 92.
Judge Larkin served as Presiding Justice of Milford District Court and on the Appellate and Superior Courts. In addition to his judicial service, he was the Hopedale Town Moderator for 26 years and was a prolific volunteer and philanthropist.
His service also extended to the military, as he served in the Army’s JAG Corps for three years and continued as a reservist until 1990, retiring with the rank of Colonel.
Visitation is today at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
