By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – There is a sudden, temporary road closure of Fruit Street in Hopkinton in order to do utility work as part of the I-495/I-90 Interchange Improvement Project. MassDOT says they apologize for the short notice as this is an unexpected, last-minute shift. The work closes Fruit Street as it crosses under I-495 today from 9am until 1pm and then again tomorrow. The detour uses Wood Street and Saddle Hill Road. There also continue to be overnight closures of the merge from I-90 onto 495 Southbound from 11pm-5am.
