By MyFM’s Marissa Santos – As the holiday season unfolds, the Friends of Holliston Trails extend warm wishes to all community members. With New Year’s Eve just around the corner, the organization is thrilled to announce its Annual First Night Trail Walk and invites everyone to join the celebration. This year, they are encouraging individuals to enhance the festivity by hosting fire pits along the trail.

The Annual First Night Trail Walk, taking place on December 31 from 5 to 8 pm, marks the unofficial start of Holliston’s 300th Anniversary. In the spirit of celebration, the Friends of Holliston Trails aim to illuminate the entire 1.25-mile walk with a radiant display of fire pits. The event is a three-hour affair, and community members are invited to set up and manage fire pits during this time.

The success of this cherished tradition relies on the participation of fire pit hosts. The organization encourages individuals to sign up and be part of the First Night Trail Walk by hosting a fire pit. Community members are also urged to spread the word and invite neighbors and friends to join in, making the Trail glow brightly as a memorable end to 2023.
