By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin has a new Olympic medalist. Kristi Kirshe is a member of the US Women’s Rugby team that has won the Bronze, the first ever medal for Team USA Women’s Rugby. Kirshe was on the field for the entire Bronze medal match win against world Rugby powerhouse Australia. This was Kirshe’s second Olympics – Team USA finished sixth in the Tokyo games in 2021. Originally a soccer player, the Daily News reports in all Kirshe has made 81 appearances for Team USA Women’s Rugby.
