By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin voters look to have said No to a $6.8 million tax override for Fiscal Year 2025. Unofficial results released last night from the Town Clerk show 5542 Yes votes to 5778 No votes, a defeat by 236. The Clerk says less than half of the town’s 24,900 registered voters turned out. In a statement following the result, Schools Superintendent Lucas Giguere said they will start the process of implementing program and service cuts including more than 40 teachers and some AP courses, and increasing sports and bus fees for families.
