Franklin Turkey Trot Raises Record $49,630 for Food Pantry Programs

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Franklin Food Pantry says this year’s Turkey Trot has raised nearly $50,000 toward supplemental food assistance and programs in Franklin. They say the grand total of $49,630 raised by more than 950 runners and 65 sponsors on Thanksgiving morning broke their record and crushed last year’s total of $45,000. Organized in conjunction with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Franklin, the money supports programs and services that assist more than 1,800 individuals and families.
