FRANKLIN – There will be significant change coming to the Franklin Town Council following Tuesday’s election.
Official results show that only two of nine incumbent councilors—Theodore Cormier-Leger and Robert Dellorco—won re-election and will return for new terms.
Three sitting councilors, Melanie Hamblen, Cobi Frongillo, and Brian Chandler, chose not to run for re-election.
The newly elected members of the Town Council are Caroline Griffith, Michael Leblanc, Jane Calloway-Tripp, Kenneth Ojukwu, Gene Grella, Stephen Malloy, and Maxwell Morrongiello.
The results mark one of the largest turnovers in recent Franklin Town Council history.
