FRANKLIN – A 15-year-old boy has died following a bicycle crash Tuesday afternoon in Franklin.
Police say the crash occurred around 3 PM on King Street near Interstate 495 when the bicycle and a vehicle collided. Emergency responders transported the teenager to UMass Memorial Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released details about what led up to the crash. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The incident remains under investigation by the Franklin Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
