By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin Public Schools officials say confusion over student school bus passes is not related to the failed tax override or any other financial issue with the district. In a letter to the community, they say there were more registrations than usual at certain schools and specific routes plus some families made payments after the extended deadline and they are still sorting it all out. As a result, bus passes will be available at your child’s school on September 4 and drivers will wait until September 16 to begin checking bus passes.
