By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin’s community-based robotics team, known as Sense & Sound Robotics, has placed 5th at the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship. Held in Houston last week, 224 teams from around the world were invited to compete. In addition to their 5th Place overall finish, Sense & Sound was awarded 2nd place for their software design. Sense & Sound is made up of 7th through 12th graders from Franklin, Medway, and Milford. Lead Programmer Adi Sharma is a Senior at Franklin High School.
