A third ambulance is back in rotation for the Town of Franklin. The Town had to cut an ambulance crew due to budget issues following the failure of a tax override in a Special Town Election last spring. Franklin Matters reports that at their meeting Wednesday, the Town Council said they were able to restore the third ambulance by adjusting the expense budget by $114,000 and authorize the hiring of two firefighter/paramedics, based on an adjustment to the Town’s shortfall after the State finalized their budget.
