Franklin’s portion of the cost toward a potential new Tri-County Regional Vocational School is likely to be around $2.1 million per year for 30 years. As we reported last week the Massachusetts School Building Authority has approved the project and committed about $90 million towards the overall $283M with the remaining nearly $200 million to be funded by the 11 towns that send students there with the amount based on the ratio of students per town. The 11 towns are set to vote on it at the end of October.
