FRANKLIN – FIFA World Cup excitement is heading to town this summer.

Town officials have announced two days of community festivities tied to the international soccer matches being played at Gillette Stadium. On June 25 and June 26, Franklin will host large-screen public viewings on the Town Common and the Haywood Manor lawn.

In addition to watching the matches, attendees can enjoy community vendors, food trucks, live music, and a beer garden. Organizers say the free events are designed to create a welcoming, festive atmosphere for residents while also drawing visitors to town during the global tournament.

With World Cup energy building across the region, Franklin is aiming to make it a celebration both on and off the field.
