A grateful Franklin family is thanking two Franklin police officers for saving the life of their baby who stopped breathing. Last month, Officers Dave Gove and Amanda Ayer responded to the home of baby Gianna and her parents Kelcey and Nick. Officers Gove and Ayer did CPR until Franklin firefighters arrived. Last week the parents brought Gianna to the police station to thank the officers for their help. Gove and Ayer were School Resource Officers but due to staffing restrictions were recently reassigned to patrol.
