FRANKLIN – The Franklin Fire and Health Departments are hosting a free class focused on choking emergencies. The class will be held on January 28 at the Franklin Fire Station on 40 West Central Street.
Participants will learn how to recognize choking emergencies in adults, children, and infants, as well as how to effectively perform back blows and abdominal thrusts. The class is for educational purposes only, and participants will not receive a first-aid certification. Registration is available through a link on the Franklin town website.
