By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin’s three middle schools have gotten grants to support STEM career learning. The grants to Remington, Horace Mann and Annie Sullivan come from the One8 Foundation towards expanded curricular programming from Project Lead the Way which provides learning experiences in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science. School officials say the grants will help start programs in Design, Computer Innovation, and App Creation and they include materials and professional development support for the teachers.
