FRANKLIN – Franklin will welcome the state’s top American Legion Junior Baseball teams this weekend.
Eddie Grant American Legion Post 75 is hosting the Massachusetts American Legion Junior State Tournament, which begins tomorrow and continues through August 5 at Franklin High School.
The tournament will feature three to four games each day as teams compete for the state championship and a berth in the regional tournament, with hopes of advancing to the national playoffs. Concessions will be available throughout the event.
The Junior State Tournament follows the Senior State Tournament, which was recently hosted at Fino Field in Milford.
