Franklin High Students Recognized in National Merit Scholarship Program

FRANKLIN – Ten Franklin High School students are being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for their academic achievement.

Ten students have been named Commended Students, joining about 34,000 students nationwide honored by the NMSC for their exceptional academic promise after taking the PSAT last year.

In addition, senior Gavin Warnakulasooriya has been named a Semifinalist, one of just 16,000 selected from the 1.3 million students who took the PSAT.
