The Franklin Food Pantry has launched the final phase of their fundraising campaign. Pantry officials announced Thursday they have reached more than 56% of their $3.5 million goal. Officials say in June they fulfilled their ten year goal of moving into a larger space, after buying the former Edwin’s building on W. Central St. Executive Director Tina Powderly says the space was needed to reach the increase in demand. She says in June 2022, they served 298 households and in June 2023 it was 367 households.
