By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Longtime Franklin Director of Public Works Robert “Brutus” Cantoreggi has been put on unpaid administrative leave but the Town is not saying why. In a statement posted to Town social media dated Friday, Town Administrator Jamie Hellen says the leave is related to a personnel matter and he will not have any further comment until “all information has been collected”. Hellen says he has appointed Town Engineer Mike Maglio as Acting DPW Director. Maglio has been with the Town of Franklin for 13 years.
